I Have a PCX-280 alarm with integral tag reader, i have inherited this in moving, i don't know how to get more tags and how to reset the system to accept them, the book says i need an engineer but i am sure with some advice i can do this, any help would be appreciated please?

All depends on how its set up, Very hard to explain it all over this, If you reset the system it will or should need setting up again and this is not something i would recommend trying your self. You best answer is to call out an alarm engineer to take a look.
