Your best option with this would be to use a Dual Tech detector and if possible position the detector so as it is pointing away from the stove.

Good afternoon! are you going to use an alarm only? I would recommend you to install a full security system which includes alarms and sirens. Now there are a lot of professional versions that do not cost a lot. I use Ajax. I can share what I like and dislike about it. I did not like the lack of cameras. I had to buy other brand cameras to connect them to the system. I like a customer support service, providing a warranty, modern design, and simplicity in use.
Can I recommend it? I think yes! If you want to invest in your future and safety - pay attention to such a product!
