How do I change the date format on a Hikvision camera?

I want the date format to be day month year on the screen but when I change it doesn't change?

To change the date format that is displayed on the screen you need to edit the on screen display (OSD) settings. The other date format option under system settings does not change the format on the live view. To find the OSD settings... On the original firmware it is under configuration > camera > OSD On the new 4.0 firmware it is under camera > display > OSD settings
