PRODUCT DETAILS
The Hikvision DS-2TD2617 is an Eco HeatPro bullet camera which features both optical and thermal lenses which can be used in conjunction with each other to provide a Bi-Spectrum feed. It also supports the DeepinMind deep learning algorithm which uses behavior analysis and will only send alerts when a human or car is detected, eliminating false alarms caused by movement from animals, branches blowing in the wind etc.
Hikvision's Thermal Imaging
Standard optical CCTV cameras can offer full colour ultra -high resolution images in fantastic detail, but still have the same restrictions as the human eye.
Hikvision's new range of thermal imagining cameras feature a germanium lens which allow infrared light to pass through, but filters out visible and ultraviolet light. This lens accurately detects heat radiation and builds up a picture that the human eye cannot see, albeit with a loss of detail. Until now.
Bi-Spectrum Imaging
By combining features from both the optical and thermal cameras, a unique hybrid image is created, providing extra details for more precise detection and decision making.
Thermal imaging cameras are able to produce accurate images day or night and are not affected by environmental factors such as backlighting, fog, smoke, steam, bright lights or complete darkness. Compared to optical cameras, thermal detection can cover a much greater distance, which reduces the number of cameras required to cover a large area. Thermal imaging can also provide an early warning system against potential risks otherwise invisible to optical cameras, such as electrical equipment heating up to dangerous levels.
