The Hikvision DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3/W is a 4 Megapixel mini PTZ network camera with a 2.8mm - 12mm varifocal lens offering 4 x optical zoom and 16 x digital zoom. The integrated microphone allows the user an audio feed along side the picture and Powered by Darkfighter technology offers excellent colour in low light condition. PoE (power over Ethernet) eliminates the need for a separate power cable making installation quicker, easier and more cost effective.
Built-in WiFi
The DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3/W features built-in WiFi which allows you to connect the camera to your home or business WiFi network eliminating the need for data cables.
Powered by Darkfighter 
Powered by Darkfighter technology allows the camera to stay in colour mode for longer in low light conditions. When small details matter, such as the colour of an intruders clothes, Darkfighter allows for more detailed surveillance for longer periods.
H.265+ Compression
Hikvision lifts video surveillance to an unprecedented level
with its H.265+ codec. In Full HD mode, H.265+ uses less than 20%
of the bandwidth of H.264, allowing for live streams of unrivalled
quality.
H.265+ also greatly outperforms all its predecessors in terms of
storage. Regardless of environment or application, H.265+ reduces
the required storage space by more than 80%. In short, H.265+
allows you to kill two birds with one stone: you can now record
images at amazingly high resolutions and minimize the required
storage capacity. This makes H.265+ the ideal solution for 24-hour
surveillance
Smart features:
Facial detection software will analyse images and determine the presence of a human face.
When a face is detected, the system captures its position, size, and expression.
The video stream will judge whether there is a human face, improving accuracy reducing false alarms
Line Cross Detection technology is a useful security feature to
alert you in the event of a person or object crossing a
pre-determined line.
A line or box can be drawn straight onto the cameras view feed in
any position which is then monitored by the system. If any person
or object breaks the line you will be alerted immediately.
This is useful for covering access points, driveways, paths &
garden perimeters.
The Unattended Baggage Detection can detect objects that have
been left behind by a subject. In the most extreme example it can
help to detect if a malicious package has been planted in a public
space.
The Object Removal Detection can help protect against theft by
scanning the environment and alerting you if camera sees that an
object is no longer there. This is particularly useful in setting
such as shops and exhibitions.
The Audio Exception Detection function detects the abnormal
sounds in the surveillance scene, such as the sudden
increase/decrease of the sound intensity, and some actions can be
taken when the alarm is triggered.
The sensitivity threshold can be adjusted depending on the setting
so the background noise is ignored and only sound 'exceptions' are
taken into account.
