PRODUCT DETAILS
The Hikvision DS-2DF8250I5X-AELW is a 2 Mega Pixel network PTZ camera featuring a focal length of 6.6mm - 330mm, 36 x optical zoom and a massive 500 Meter laser IR range.
500m Laser Infrared
Most surveillance cameras use Infrared LED's to illuminate scenes that are too dark to provide a clear picture. Depending on the LED strength, a clear night time image can be obtained from distances anywhere between 5m and 300m. Over 300m the LED's are simply not powerful enough and detail is lost.
Hikvision have combated this by incorporating powerful Lasers that provides an additional light source which the IR LED's can use to create sharper detail at a longer distance. Using this technology, the DS-2DF8250I5X-AELW can provide a clear night time image up to 5km (500m) away.
Powered by Darkfighter
Alongside the Laser, the DS-2DF8250I5X-AELW's Infrared imaging is complimented by Hikvisions 'Powered by Darkfighter' technology. This allows the camera to stay in colour mode for longer in low light conditions. When small details matter, such as the colour of an intruders clothes, Darkfighter allows for more detailed surveillance for longer periods.
Smart Auto Tracking
Smart tracking allows the camera to automatically follow movement in the scene. Not only does this provide a strong deterrent by giving the impression the camera is being manually operated it also provides close up detail of people and objects that may otherwise have been missed.
Face Recognition
Facial detection software will analyse images and determine the presence of a human face.
When a face is detected, the DS-2DF8250I5X-AELW captures its position, size, and expression. The video stream will judge whether there is a human face, improving accuracy and reducing false alarms.
Audio Exception
The Audio Exception Detection function detects the abnormal sounds in the surveillance scene, such as the sudden increase/decrease of the sound intensity, and some actions can be taken when the alarm is triggered.
The sensitivity threshold can be adjusted depending on the setting so the background noise is ignored and only sound 'exceptions' are taken into account.
