PRODUCT DETAILS
The Apollo 55000-316APO is a series 65 smoke detector which uses advanced optical detection technology to provide reliable and accurate results. It incorporates a built-in insect guard to prevent false alarms and has an internal Infrared LED that flashes every 3 seconds. Once smoke enters the chamber it scatters the light particles and sounds the alarm. This also illuminates an external, visible LED to provide a visual alert that warns deaf and hard of hearing uses that the alarm has been activated.
The Apollo 55000-316APO optical detector is compatible with a range of conventional fire detection systems.
