About BMI

BMI are a family owned company that manufacture measuring devices and has been operating from the north Bavarian town of Hersbruck for the past 60 years. They specialise in spirit levels, measuring tapes, rulers and surveying equipment, and in 1993 started have become one of the industry leaders in Laser levelling.

Since they were founded BMI have boasted several 'milestone' patents, including ultrasonic welded spirit levels, FLEXTOP tips for measuring tapes and the first non-sparking spirit level.
