iiyama is a globally renowned brand, known for producing high-quality liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors and LED display panels. Initially an independent entity known as Iiyama Corporation, founded in 1972 by Kazuro Katsuyama in Tokyo, Japan, the company made its name in the electronics industry before being acquired by MCJ Corporation in 2006. Post-acquisition, its headquarters were moved to Europe in 2008, continuing its legacy in the computer monitor market under the leadership of CEO Takeichi Shinji.
