The Riello Sentinel Dual2 SD2 is a high-performance online double-conversion uninterruptible power supply, designed to provide continuous, reliable power protection for critical IT infrastructure and business systems. Combining advanced technology with flexible installation options, the Sentinel Dual2 is ideal for servers, networking equipment, storage systems, VoIP, security systems, medical devices, and industrial applications.
Engineered for maximum reliability, the SD2 range uses true online double-conversion technology to deliver a constant, clean power supply, protecting connected equipment from outages, voltage fluctuations, surges, and electrical interference. With a power factor of 1 (kVA = kW), the UPS provides full usable power capacity, making it particularly suitable for modern high-density IT environments and blade server systems.
The versatile design allows the UPS to be installed as either a 2U rackmount unit or freestanding tower, providing flexibility for server rooms, comms cabinets, and office installations. A rotating LCD display and LED status bar offer clear real-time monitoring of system performance, battery status, load levels, and operating conditions.
Developed by Riello UPS’s research and development team, the Sentinel Dual2 delivers excellent energy efficiency, achieving up to 93.7% efficiency in online mode, helping reduce running costs while maintaining premium power protection. Integrated EnergyShare sockets enable intelligent load management, prioritising critical devices during extended outages.
Configuration and management are simplified through a built-in Bluetooth mobile app and PC software support, enabling easy setup, monitoring, and advanced configuration directly from a smartphone or computer. Extended Runtime (ER) variants are also available for applications requiring prolonged battery backup.
