PRODUCT DETAILS
Our range of NWS cable cutters are designed to cleanly cut cables and are manufactured from corrosion resistant, oil-hardened steel for strength and durability. The cutters offer ratchet-shaped clamping of the cable to ensure crimp-free cutting and a precision cutting edge for a smooth and clean cut without any burrs. Every tool in the VDE range has been individually tested in a water bath at 10,000 volts to ensure safe working at the permitted 1,000 volts.
Available in 160mm and 210mm
Features:
- For stripping and cutting copper and aluminium cable
- Improved cutting geometry for simple cutting and higher operating times
- Ratchet-shaped clamping of the cable ensures crimp-free cutting
- Precision cutting edge for a smooth and clean cut without any burrs
- Not suitable for steel wire, aluminium alloys and hard-drawn copper conductors
- Re-adjustable screw-joint
- Handles with ergonomically shaped SoftGripp multi-component safety sleeves according to DIN EN/IEC 60900
- SoftGripp handles with SystemSocket for holding optionally available accessories, e.g. the easily attached SystemClip for fall protection
- Professional design for easy handling under permanent load
- Made of special tool steel, forged, oil-hardened
