The Tenda TEF1109P-8-63W is a 9-port desktop switch that features 8 PoE ports and includes features such as 250-meter POE extend mode for long distance power transmission, 6KV lighting protection on all ports and a 58W POE budget.
POE Extend mode - Up to 250 meters
Due to the various applications for PoE there is often a requirement to run cables further then the recommended 100m. This is a common problem for CCTV and WIFI installations where the nodes are distributed throughout a larger building. The Tenda TEF11 series PoE monitoring switches adopt an exclusive patented network extension technology, utilising standard twisted pair cable, it can support 250 meters of data and power transmission.
6KV Lightening Protection
In a typical project, cameras are often installed in outdoor in
high locations. This greatly increases the camera and PoE switches
probability of being struck by lightning resulting in
important networks being damaged disabled.
The Tenda TEF11 series switches have professional lightning
protection built in for up to 6KV.
