The AP4 by Tenda is designed to boost the range of your existing Wi-Fi and creates stronger signals in hard-to-reach areas for game consoles, printers, mobile devices etc. With its Power over Ethernet support and wall-mount slim design, the AP4 is flexible and simple to deploy in most locations. The AP4 features multi operation modes including Universal Repeater, Client (Station) and WISP allowing use in a wide array of applications including large properties, guest houses and hotels, restaurants and large stores etc.
One Button to boost
The AP4 features a Range Extender Button that allows users to boost
existing Wi-Fi Range by simply pressing the "Range Extender"
button.
Flexible deployment
Wall-Mount design and Power over Ethernet support make it flexible
to deploy in locations without power outlets and mains supply such
as a garage or warehouse etc.
Multi Operating Modes for Various
Scenarios
Various operating modes including AP, Universal Repeater, WISP
(Client Router) and Station(client) help you to boost Wi-Fi range
in various scenarios such as large houses, restaurants, stores
etc
- Universal Repeater mode - Extend your existing wireless coverage by relaying the wireless signal.
- WISP (Client Router) mode - Wireless connection to ISP hotspot to share Internet for local wireless and wired devices.
- Station (client) mode - Working as a wireless adaptor to connect to your wired devices.
Easy to Manage with AP Controller
The AP4 can be managed by the AC500 AP controller from Tenda. When
multiple APs are installed, you can configure SSID (Wireless
network name), Channel, Security Key, Output power etc settings
centrally through the AC500 saving time on commissioning.

My virgin router is 50m away and my laptop is out of range, if I plug this into the end of a 50m Ethernet cable, will it project the wfi signal?
