IP-COM CPE6 5GHz 2km Point to Point Outdoor Bridge CPE

The IP-COM CPE6 is a point-to-point bridge that can transmit data wirelessly up to 2km on the 5GHz band with speeds up to 300Mbps, making it ideal for devices that are spread over a large area where cabling is not practical, such as CCTV installations. The CPE6 comes complete with a PoE (Power over Ethernet) adaptor which eliminates the need for a separate power cable, reducing cost and making installation easier.

Application

The CPE6 adopts TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) proprietary protocol which enables wireless WISP outdoor application scenarios to be greatly improved in both performance and capacity. The 12dbi directional antenna provides a secure connection to the base station and can wirelessly transmit data over distances up to 5km.

The CPE6 is supplied with centralised management software which allows the units to be controlled and configured remotely. In addition, the Qualcomm AR9344 chipset optimises radio driven architecture to offer extended frequency support. 

Auto bridge technology allows for the units to connect automatically when they face each other, which helps users get out of the congested, unlicensed 5GHz band and into clean spectrum. Signal strength can be gauged at a glance with three integrated LED lights which help find the correct position and achieve optimum performance, which speeds up installation time and creates a stronger link.

An IP65 rated casing and 6K lightening surge protection keeps the CPE12 safe from the elements and prevents expensive damage caused by electrical spikes.
