PRODUCT DETAILS

The Tenda O2 is supplied as a single unit. To create a point-to-point link, you will need to order 2 of these.

The Tenda O2 is a long-range outdoor CPE that that can be used to create a 5GHz long distance wireless connection up to 2km at 300Mps making it perfect for applications where devices are spread over a large area such as CCTV systems. PoE (Power over Ethernet) eliminates the need for a separate power cable, reducing cost and making installation easier.

The Tenda O2 features a 12dBi directional antenna to receive and maintain a stable signal for the wireless network. By using auto bridging technology, 2 CPE devices will connect to each other automatically to make set up quicker and easier.

Super Channel-Extended Frequency

The Tenda O2 combines the Qualcom AR9344 chipset with unique software to provide radio driven architecture. This feature is designed to help users escape the congested, unlicensed 5GHz band and into the clean spectrum.

The O2 offers 10/20/30/40MHz channel bandwidth options, with the 30MHz channel option increasing throughput for noisy environments, and the 10MHz channel that can increase the number of available, non-overlapping channels so networks can scale better and more efficiently.

What is the point of a 300Mbps wireless link if the device only has a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port?
( )
Hi Martin,

300Mbps is a theoretical throughput of the wireless band. This is used as the device operates on the less congested 5GHz band (rather than the interference-prone 2.4GHz) and uses with 802.11a (54Mbps theoretical max) or 802.11n (300Mbps theoretical max with the device's antenna setup) - Both of these bands are the minimum requirements to operate on the 5GHz frequency, and is why they are used on these point-to-point wireless links.

Kind regards
