I have got a Hikvision iDS-7204HUHI-K1/4S(C) recently purchased from yourselves. I would like to know if this doorbell can be added to my DVR, and can I connect it to my Hik-Connect app and communicate with the person who rings the bell over the app? The reason I ask is that I don't want to introduce any 'indoor stations' or any other controllers. I would like to just add it to my DVR and my Hik-connect app and use it that way.

Yes, the doorbell needs to be on your network with Internet access to allow it to be added to Hik-connect directly. The recorder connection allows recording but is not required for App access.
