The Pyronix WiFI dome camera takes your Pyronix alarm system to the next level by enabling access to live HD video and recorded images that can be used for visual verification of active alarms or just checking things at home while your away.

Tough Outdoor Camera

The WiFi dome camera is ideal for outdoor use as it weather proof and vandal resistant and comes with powerful infrared illuminators for images up to 30 meters away in complete darkness.

Easy Installation

The Pyronix dome camera simply connects to your home WiFi and can then be accessed while at home or away using the same HomeControl+ app used for the Pyronix alarm system.

Powering the camera requires an optional 12 volt power supply or POE source.

Choice of 3 Lenses

The Pyronix dome camera is available with either an ultra wide 2.8mm lens, a wide 4mm lens or a close up 6mm lens. The widest 2.8mm lens will give an image covering the largest area while the 6mm lens will provide the most detail.

Can you view the last 24 hours of footage directly on the app?

If you are using a MicroSD card for local recording this can be viewed directly in the App for as long as is available depending on the capacity of the card. Large capacity cards can store several days or even weeks when recording motion events only.

Hello there, Is this the only Pyronix outdoor wifi camera? Is it powered by internal battery or does it have to be hard wired to mains? Also do you have to have a memory card or can it save to the cloud? How much video in terms of time can be saved on 128gb memory card?

This is the only outdoor wifi camera Pyronix offer. It does require power either via POE or a 12v transformer. You will need a memory card in order to store footage on these cameras as you can not just save to the cloud. 128GB card should allow for up to 1 week but this depends on how the camera is configured.

If I put this outside, will the wifi signal be strong enough, or will I need a wifi booster near by?

This is very dependant on where your camera is in relation to the router as the signal degrades significantly as it passes through walls. It is also very dependant on the construction and thickness of the walls it has to pass through. Wifi boosters can be used near the camera to improve range.

Yes that should be fine with these cameras. A power supply such as 12568 or a splitter like 11713 would work fine.

Can the camera be mounted on a vertical wall?
Also what is the wifi range and do you think I could use a wifi booster to be able to position a camera in the garden?

Yes this camera is 3 axis and can be wall mounted. You can also use the standoff wall bracket for this camera if required. The wifi range is very similar to most wifi devices but in most instances the camera needs to penetrate the external walls which reduces the range. Wifi boosters can be used to extend the range.

WiFi connect is it 2g 5g or both, also do I need to connect to Pyronix cloud to use the ios app, and is it easy to store data on my NAS drive which is on the network.please.

The WiFi is 2.4GHz. You can use the app locally with the IP address or remotely using the free Hik-connect cloud service. NAS storage is supported and is configured via the web browser interface.
