The Ajax EN54 FireProtect (Heat) is a wireless heat detector designed to deliver fast, reliable fire detection in compliance with the EN54 European fire safety standard. Compact and stylish, it integrates seamlessly into the Ajax wireless ecosystem to provide dependable protection for both residential and commercial properties.
Two built-in thermistors detect a rapid temperature rise or when the temperature exceeds the threshold value. The thermistors trigger an alarm when a rapid temperature rise or static temperature is detected. The threshold temperature, temperature rise rate, and the response time at which the detector raises an alarm depend on the detector settings and comply with the requirements of the EN 54-5 standard.
EN54 FireProtect Jeweller detectors combine certified reliability with effortless installation. This wireless series includes addressable point smoke and heat detectors, some of them combined with built-in fire alarm sounders. Each detector provides best-in-class detection accuracy thanks to Ajax's patented smoke chamber with a dual-spectrum optical sensor and two accurate thermistors. With built-in communicators, long battery life, and stable radio communication, the devices are ready for different-scale projects. No need to open the enclosure or run cables — installation and configuration take just minutes via Ajax apps. Early service notifications and automated maintenance reports via Ajax PRO Desktop ensure the system stays easy to support for years.
