The Ajax GlassProtect U Jeweller is a compact and reliable wireless glass break detector designed to instantly detect the sound of breaking windows or glass doors. Featuring advanced acoustic analysis and the powerful U-Jeweller wireless protocol, it provides accurate detection, long-range communication, and high resistance to false alarms — ideal for both residential and commercial installations.
This sensor recognises both low-frequency impact sounds (from the initial hit) and high-frequency glass shattering, ensuring precise detection across all types of glass, including tempered, laminated, and double-glazed units. It operates without reacting to background noise such as voices, music, or the sound of dishes.
GlassProtect U Jeweller works wirelessly. Each device comes with a pre-installed CR123A battery from a trusted manufacturer, so the detector is ready to operate right out of the box — no extra steps are needed. Each device battery is tested during production, and Ajax Systems checks every unit to ensure reliable performance. The battery lasts about five years and can be easily replaced when needed. Its state is always available in Ajax apps. Users and monitoring companies receive low battery notifications well in advance and have enough time to replace the battery without urgency.
