The Ajax EN54 Indoor FireProtect Sounder is a certified audible alarm device designed to deliver a powerful warning signal in the event of fire within 3 seconds of a fire alert. Finished in black, red or white, this sounder is both discreet and robust, making it ideal for professional installations where reliable performance and compliance with European fire safety standards are required.
With EN54 certification, the sounder meets stringent safety and reliability requirements, ensuring it can be trusted in critical applications. It integrates seamlessly with the Ajax wireless security and fire detection ecosystem, providing fast, clear, and effective alerts when triggered by detectors or system alarms.
When every second counts, there's no room for delays or dropped
connection. That's why Ajax sounders and VADs use the Jeweller
two-way radio communication protocol. This proprietary Ajax
technology goes beyond the standard and helps activate sounders and
VADs in as little as 3 seconds after a fire alarm is
triggered.
Devices communicate with the CIE at distances1 of up to 1,700
meters out of the box — no external communicators required. For
sites with obstacles, an Ajax range extender can double the
coverage or use an Ethernet connection to create a separate radio
network.
