Analogue CCTV Cameras
Analogue CCTV cameras use conventional cabling and connection methods such as coax cable and BNC connectors.
Analogue CCTV cameras are relatively simple and low cost. Advanced features such as motion detection and video analysis are performed by the recorder and each camera requires a direct connection to the recorder.
IP Network CCTV Cameras
IP Network CCTV cameras are connected to a network using Ethernet cables or WiFi.
Each IP network camera is a small computer and can either be used as a stand-alone device or as part of a larger networked system. Advanced features such as motion detection and video analysis are performed by the camera and multiple IP CCTV cameras can be sent over a single connection.
