HDMI Types
The most commonly used HDMI types are type A (standard HDMI), type C (mini-HDMI) and type D (micro-HDMI). The smaller HDMI connectors are often used for portable devices like tablet computers, mobile phones and digital cameras to connect them to larger display screens.
HDMI with Ethernet and ARC
HDMI Cables with Ethernet technology allow compatible smart devices to communicate with each other and offer smart features to the user. ARC or Audio Return Channel allows the devices to send and receive high quality digital audio meaning separate audio cables for surround sound systems are not required.
