The Yuasa REC36-12I is a high-capacity 12V 36Ah rechargeable sealed lead-acid battery designed for standby and cyclic power applications where dependable backup performance is essential. Featuring advanced valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) technology, the REC36-12I is maintenance-free and designed for safe operation in a wide range of professional installations. Its robust construction and deep discharge recovery characteristics make it particularly suitable for applications that require regular charging and discharging, as well as dependable standby power during mains failures.

  • Gas recombination technology effectively recombines 99% of the gas generated during normal use
  • Low self discharge rate ensures a long shelf life, maintaining charge over extended non-use periods
  • Sealed construction prevents electrolyte leakage for a safe & low maintenance battery, however regular testing and inspection is required
  • Can be used in any orientation with no performance compromise, excluding continuous inverted use
  • Valve regulated design features a low-pressure venting system to release excess gas, ensuring maximum safety in the event of overcharging
  • Optimised grid design for superior energy density, provides extended service life & consistent power delivery
  • Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology with unique electrolyte suspension system utilises a glass fibre separator material to retain optimised electrolyte distribution
