The Planet POE-161S is a variable voltage PoE splitter that supports PoE input up to 25 Watt (802.3at) and provides a data connection for an IP device and a separate 5 or 12 VDC output for powering a non-PoE device or additional accessories.
The diagram below shows the Planet POE-161S being used to power a 12 VDC microphone that is connected to an IP camera with an audio input.
