Hi

Can someone please tell me how to install Cat 5e UTP Solid Armoured SWA to Category 6A UTP inline junction box, I follow the wiring for the Ethernet cable but it does not work.

We would recommend using an inline coupler at either end of the SWA cable as SWA network cable is difficult to terminate using plugs or faceplates.

Join the SWA to a standard Cat 5e or 6 cable using an inline coupler as shown in the example below. 

Different brands of couplers are wired in different ways so it is important to follow the instructions provided with the coupler. You can often find that the coupler has labelling on it's base to show where each core goes. The coupler available from Connectec here is wired as follows
