There is no default password for Hikvision and HiLook CCTV
recorders (DVR's and NVR's). When you first power up the recorder
(with a screen attached) you will be asked to create a secure
password. The default username is admin. You can also activate and
set a password for a device over a local network by using the SADP
software tool. If you don't know the password and the device has
already been activated you can reset it by following the
instructions found in the following article.
