What's the range on the Pyronix wireless devices?

The maximum range in open areas with unrestricted line-of-sight is 1600 metres or 1.6 km but in most installations the devices are not installed in open areas. In practice the range can be anywhere from 50 to 300 metres depending on the construction of the building. Battery life will be reduced if the devices have low signal so working on the basis of a 50 metre range in most typical installations might be best.
