The Planet GSD-1121XP is a high-quality, low-cost desktop switch that features 8 x 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit RJ45 ports, 2 x 100/1G/2.5GBASE-T RJ45 ports and 1 x 10GBASE-X SFP+ port, with a total of 120-watt PoE budget, and 2.5Gbps and 10Gbps uplink data switching performance.
2.5Gbps Capability for Diversified Bandwidth Applications
The GSD-1121XP is a new generation of Multi-Gigabit switch. Traditional switches can sometimes fail to satisfy the demand placed on them with terminal access rates of 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 and 802.11ac wireless APs reaching as high as 1.2Gbps to 2.6Gbps.
Supporting 100/1G/2.5Gbps capability and 802.3af/at PoE output, the GSD-1121XP is able to deliver data to 802.11ac wireless APs, and power other devices such as APs and IP cameras at the same time.
The 10Gbps SFP+ port built in the GSD-1121XP features 10GBASE-SX/LX SFP+ (small form-factor pluggable) fiber-optic modules and allows the user to choose the suitable SFP+ transceiver according to not only the transmission distance, but also the transmission speed required. The distance can be extended from 300 meters to 2km (multi-mode fiber) and up to 10/20/40/60/80 kilometers (single-mode fiber) making it ideal for large scale applications.
Application
The GSD-1121XP Features 46Gbps high-performance switch architecture and 120-watt PoE power budget and can support recorded video files from 10 PoE IP cameras, while simultaneously supporting 2 wireless access points. The data can be sent back to the multi-channel NVR systems or surveillance software in the monitoring center for viewing and possible backup references.
Alternatively, the GSD-1121XP can utilise its ten 802.3at PoE+ in-line power interfaces to build a system that centrally controls IP phones systems, IP camera networks and a wireless AP group, making them ideal to meet the demands of small to medium sized business'.
