The TP-LINK TL-SG1428PE is a 28-port managed Rackmount PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch that provides power and data over a single Ethernet cable via 24 x 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE RJ45 ports, making it perfect for small to medium-scale IP surveillance networks. It can automatically detect and supply power to any compatible PoE camera allowing you to expand your network without separate power cables, making installation quicker, easier and more cost effective.
Separate from the RJ45 device ports, the TL-SG1428PE has 2 Gigabit SFP uplink ports that be connected with SFP modules for fibre.
Compliance with the 802.3af/at PoE+ standard supports up to 30W on each PoE port, with a total PoE power budget of 250W.
When your total power consumption exceeds 250 W, Intelligent Power Management automatically cuts lower priority ports’ power to ensure high-priority ports’ power supply. This protects the device from power overload operation. It also automatically detects the required PoE power for your device and protects your non-PoE equipment from being damaged.
TL-SG1428PE offers network monitoring for users to observe traffic behavior. Through its web-based user interface and management utility, the TL-SG1428PE offers a variety of useful features, including network monitoring, traffic prioritization, and enhanced QoS.
