The Kauden KA229 is an RJ45 Network Cable Tester Kit with Power-over-Ethernet Checker diagnostic tool designed to simplify the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of network cabling and PoE-enabled systems. Ideal for network engineers, CCTV installers, IT professionals, and security system integrators, the kit provides a quick and reliable way to verify cable integrity and power availability.

The new QC Single Head test allows one to test just the RJ45 plug pin condition to make sure it has been correctly crimped, sometimes just the plug is at fault and time saving by checking the plug rather then checking all the cabling.

Designed to test RJ45 network cables, the tester can identify common wiring faults including open circuits, shorts, crossed pairs, and miswired connections, helping installers quickly locate and rectify problems before deployment. The included remote unit allows cable testing across installed network runs, making it ideal for structured cabling installations and maintenance work.

In addition to standard cable testing, the integrated Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) checker enables users to verify the presence and status of PoE on network ports. This makes it particularly useful for installing and troubleshooting IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other PoE-powered devices.
