RGL B-MCP-2N Blue Manual Call Point Double Pole

The RGL B-MCP-2N Blue Manual Call Point is a double pole resettable manual call point designed for lockdown, emergency, and access control applications. The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, or “Martyn’s Law”, means premises with a capacity of 200 or more are now legally required to prepare to have public protection measures in place, including lockdown plans, by April 2027.

Featuring a distinctive blue housing, it is ideal for initiating lockdown procedures or other non-fire emergency responses in schools, colleges, healthcare facilities, offices, and public buildings where rapid manual activation is essential. 

Designed for reliability and ease of use, the B-MCP-2N incorporates double pole contacts, providing one positive switching contact and one changeover contact for flexible integration with access control, security, and building management systems. The unit includes a selectable audible buzzer and LED indicator, offering immediate visual and audible confirmation when activated. The permanently illuminated LED changes from blue to red on activation, making it easy to identify an alarm condition. 

Unlike traditional break glass units, the B-MCP-2N features a resettable operating element, allowing it to be restored using the supplied reset key without the need to replace glass. A protective flip-up cover helps prevent accidental operation while maintaining quick access in an emergency.
