PRODUCT DETAILS
The RGL STE-P is a heavy-duty rubber and high-impact plastic foot operated exit switch with double pole NONC contacts. It can be mounted to either the wall as a kick plate, or the floor as a step plate, and is ideal for access-controlled doorways where no hand contact is important, such as schools, laboratories and hospitals.
Installation
The RGL STE-P is not a standalone device, but uses an existing push-to-exit button (or a new install) and replaces the method with which access is granted. Once the STE-P is wired into the access control button, the faceplate is replaced with a glow in the dark legend with directional signage pointing to the step plate.
STEP ONE
Install STE-P near to the existing button or new
install.
STEP TWO
Wire (two wires) the STE-P foot operated switch to the existing
exit button. No power is needed.
STEP THREE
Replace button and plate with STE-P plate (included) designed to
glow in the dark with directional signage
STEP FOUR
Enjoy hands free, touch free, egress from RGL
