Akuvox E16C SIP PoE 5-Inch Facial Recognition Surface Mount 2MP Door Phone

The Akuvox E16C is a budget-friendly 5'' face recognition door phone, which offers excellent intercom communication and flexible access control methods like AI-powered face recognition and mobile app. It is typically used in commercial and residential applications. PoE (Power over Ethernet) allows both data and power to be sent over a single ethernet cable, making installation of the E16C to be quicker and easier.

The E16C features an easy-to-navigate touchscreen and offers fast, safe and reliable access control with a myriad of authentication options including face recognition, mobile app, NFC, QR codes, PIN codes and IC proximity cards. 

The facial recognition feature adapts to facial changes over time and features anti-spoofing measures against phots or videos, with an accuracy rate of up to 99.7%. A capacity of up to 20,000 faces can be saved making the E16C ideal for business' where quick and easy access control needs to be implemented for a large number of people.

Application

Cloud access and subscription

Akuvox products can be used with or without cloud access and storage. The Akuvox cloud can be accessed through the SmartPlus smartphone app and will allow you to receive video calls, operate relays, generate temporary QR access codes, view visit history, trigger photo taking, etc.

When a video intercom and a screen is bought at the same time, Akuvox will offer you free cloud access for life (although this version does not include the possibility of making calls on fixed lines).

If you do not require a screen, Akuvox offer cloud license on a yearly or lifetime basis. These licenses are valid for one residence/family, up to a total of 4 cloud users. Beyond 4 users, a subscription of 2 CHF per month will be required per additional user (for the 5th, 6th etc.).
