The Hikvision DS-6700NI-S is a cloud storage solution that backs up surveillance footage to cloud storage as an additional safety precaution.
Some intruders locate the recording device and either destroy it or take it with them. In these instances it is usually impossible to find the footage needed for a conviction. The DS-6700NI-S transcodes the video to a suitable definition and transmits them to cloud storage, which can be viewed remotely.
