Junction box brackets of this style provide a compact and discreet mounting solution for cameras. Junction box mounting bases provide containment for camera flyleads and connectors minimising any risk of unwanted tampering and also reduce the risk of water ingress.
Supplied with a threaded entry hole, the bases are perfect for conduit termination and are also supplied with a 25mm compression gland and fixings.

I have cables coming from the rear entry so I just want to mount the camera onto this.

It would be nice if the rubber seal had a bit of adhesive on it to keep it in place during installation as once it comes off it only goes back in a certain orientation. Not hard to do but slows you down a bit.
Also, the screw heads on the front plate round off easy, I found. Probably if you’re careful and take your time it will be a lot less likely to round off. I was in a bit of a hurry to be fair but they seem typical
of the screws they package in with the cameras in that they are quite soft.
