The Hikvision DS-2DF7A836IXG-EL(Y) is an 8MP 4K speed dome IP camera with a 36 x optical zoom and excellent low-light performance thanks to Darkfighter 2.0 technology. It features smart deep learning functionality such as face capture, perimeter protection, multi-target-type detection, face comparison and vehicle/traffic detection.
Auto tracking allows the camera to automatically follow movement in the scene. Not only does this provide a strong deterrent by giving the impression the camera is being manually operated it also provides close up detail of people and objects that may otherwise have been missed. The DS-2DF7A836IXG-EL(Y) also features a built-in gyroscope to ensure stable image output.
DarkFighter 2.0
Dealing with low-light conditions is always tricky for security solution providers who prioritize image quality. Hikvision is leading the way in low-light imaging from DarkFighter, DarkFighterX to DarkFighterS technologies. Now, the new DarkFighter 2.0 technology uses advanced camera sensors, ultra-large apertures, and new AI-driven technologies to elevate security cameras' low-light performance to a whole new level.
DarkFighter 2.0 uses top-notch hardware, including one or two 1/1.8" sensors and an up to F1.0 aperture, along with AI-enhanced ISP algorithms to produce high-quality images in low-light environments. This technology outperforms traditional ISP methods by incorporating AI-powered noise reduction to improve low-light imagery and enhance detail reproduction. DarkFighter 2.0 excels at capturing still images and objects moving at different speeds, making it ideal for intelligent security applications in complex scenes.
The technology also features an outstanding wide dynamic range and high frame rates, enabling the upgrade from colourful imaging to lifelike colour reproduction.
Intelligent Deep-Learning
The Hikvision DS-2DF7A836IXG-EL(Y) features advanced Deep Learning AI technology, enabling highly accurate detection, classification, and tracking of people, vehicles, and faces in demanding surveillance environments. Designed for professional security applications, these intelligent analytics significantly reduce false alarms while improving monitoring efficiency and incident response.
Facial Detection and Recognition
Facial detection software can be used to sound an alert when the camera spots a face that has previously been stored in its database. This is handy for a variety of applications, such as a VIP visiting the building, or sounding an alert for a known shoplifter.
In addition, the latest facial recognition software will allow you to store up to 30,000 faces over 10 libraries, allowing companies to store all of their staff photographs into the system and immediately be alerted to the presence of a customer or an intruder on the premises.
This could also be used in the reception of a 'members only' club to quickly check membership status and notify the management of non-paying guests.
Perimeter Protection
The DeepInMind range of cameras provide up to 90% accuracy when detecting a human form in a pre-defined area. This is particularly useful in areas such as a school where AcuSense wouldn't be required but certain areas still need to be monitored.
Once a person is detected in the pre-defined area, an alarm can be raised and an event is logged in the playback.
The intelligent software can differentiate between a human and other non-event movements, such as animals or branches blowing in the wind. This greatly reduces the number of false alarms and events are much easier to find on playback.
Multi-Target Type Detection
Looking back through recordings to try and find a particular person or event can be extremely time consuming and frustrating. The Multi-Target Type Detection features allows for filters to be applied which narrows the search and eliminates any person that doesn't fit the search parameter.
For example, if you are looking for a man with glasses, wearing a red top and carrying a back-pack, the DeepInMind software will drill down on this information and only show you the relevant options. If there are still too many subjects to choose from, you can drill down even further, for example, if he was carrying something.
Not only is this a powerful tool to reduce man hours spent reviewing footage, but could prove valuable in identifying a suspect after a crime has been committed.
Road Traffic and Vehicle Detection
Hikvision's Vehicle Information Detection system, engineered with deep learning algorithms, recognizes vehicle features including license plate characters, colour, type, and manufacturer, and detects phone use, seatbelt status, and other violations with much higher efficiency. What’s more, Hikvision’s advanced solutions also offer information detection like positioning of multiple targets, lane use, speed and direction, and a wealth of traffic data.
