The Ei168RC RadioLINK Base is a mains-powered easi-fit mounting plate that adds wireless interconnection capability to Aico’s 140e Series alarms, including the Ei146e and Ei144e models. Featuring built-in RadioLINK technology, it allows multiple alarms to communicate wirelessly—so when one alarm is triggered, all others sound for complete property coverage.
Designed to replace the standard easi-fit base, the Ei168RC is simple to install and eliminates the need for complicated wiring runs, saving time, mess, and installation costs. The unit also includes a rechargeable lithium back-up cell, ensuring continued operation even during power interruptions. Once fitted, alarms are linked together using a secure House Coding function, preventing interference from other nearby wireless systems.
The Ei168RC is ideal for creating hybrid systems, combining both
wired and wireless interconnections. It’s perfect for extending
existing setups or upgrading older systems to include additional
alarms and accessories without the hassle of running new cables.
