Apollo Fire Detectors Reach Heat Detector

The Apollo RW1000-400APO REACH is a wireless addressable heat detector designed to deliver reliable fire detection in buildings where traditional wired installations are impractical or undesirable. As part of Apollo's innovative REACH Wireless range, it is ideal for heritage buildings, listed properties, temporary structures, occupied premises, and locations where minimising disruption is essential. 

Using a high-precision NTC thermistor, the detector can be configured as either a Rate-of-Rise (A1R) or Fixed High Temperature (BS) detector to suit the specific fire risks of the installation. Configuration is carried out through the compatible REACH Loop Interface, providing flexibility for a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications. 

The RW1000-400APO communicates wirelessly using bi-directional RF technology with dual-channel redundancy, ensuring secure and dependable communication with the REACH Loop Interface. With a communication range of up to 100 metres in open space, it provides reliable coverage while reducing installation time and eliminating the need for extensive cabling. 

Powered by two CR123A lithium batteries, the detector offers an impressive 10-year battery life under normal operating conditions, helping to minimise maintenance requirements. Twin bi-colour LEDs provide clear 360° visual indication of detector status and alarm conditions, allowing for quick identification during routine inspections or emergency situations.
