The Ajax Superior MotionProtect Plus Fibra is a professional-grade wired indoor motion detector designed to provide highly accurate intrusion detection in environments where thermal interference could otherwise cause false alarms. Combining a sensitive PIR sensor with an additional K-band microwave sensor, it delivers enhanced reliability for commercial, industrial, and high-security installations.
Using Ajax’s advanced dual-detection technology, the detector first identifies motion using its PIR sensor, then verifies the alarm with microwave scanning to filter out false triggers caused by air conditioning, fireplaces, heaters, sunlight, or other sources of thermal interference. This makes it especially effective in challenging indoor environments.
The detector offers a motion detection range of up to 12 metres, with intelligent software algorithms such as SmartDetect and temperature compensation helping maintain reliable performance in both hot and cold conditions. Pet immunity functionality reduces false alarms from animals weighing up to 20kg and below 50cm in height when correctly installed.
Built on Ajax’s secure Fibra wired communication technology, the MotionProtect Plus Fibra provides encrypted two-way communication with compatible Ajax hubs over distances of up to 2,000 metres using standard twisted pair cabling. The system continuously monitors device health, tamper status, communication integrity, and sensor operation for maximum reliability.
Its sleek, modern design blends discreetly into residential and commercial interiors, while the SmartBracket mounting system simplifies installation and servicing without requiring the enclosure to be disassembled. Remote configuration and diagnostics through Ajax apps help reduce on-site maintenance time for installers and engineers.
