Is this sensor compatible with an Optima Compact house alarm?

Yes, the FPMEQBL is a universal PIR that is compatible with most wired alarms including the Optima alarms series.

Do you have to purchase wall brackets or can these MEQ sensors be mounted directly onto the wall?

You can mount the detector directly to the wall if you want it to face straight out or at a 45° angle. For any other angle, you can use the EB1-WALL-BRACKET.

No, you either need to fit your own resistors or upgrade to the KX series PIRs which have built-in resistors.

Will this sensor be suitable to replace an accenta pir that has 6 wire connection +, - , alarm in and out and 2 tamper ?

I don't believe there is a ceiling mount available for the MEQ. For more flexible mounting I would suggest upgrading to the KX10DP which has brackets for both wall and ceiling mounting.

Are wall brackets available for the Pyronix MEQ Blue PIR's. No one seems to list or mention these.

Pyronix have confirmed this part is available. It's called the EB1-WALL-BRACKET. I have asked purchasing to list this product on our site. It should be available to order very soon. In the meantime, you can install the MEQ onto a wall by fixing directly through the flat surface or angled surfaces for corner mounting in the back of the PIR itself.

I have a Optima XM security panel in my home.
I required a compatible PIR sensor with pet allowance to replace the old one. On the old one there are 12v terminals and the alarm is "Normally Closed" on the terminals. The Tamper alarm is not connected on the PIR sensor.

I have purchased 6 motion detectors from yourselves Pyronix KX10DP, Pyronix KX15DT & Pyronix FPMEQBL.
I require to to replace old detectors which have 2 resistors in do I need to fit these within the new detectors i.e. the Pyronix KX10DP as I am not sure theses have them already in, sorry for the questions but we are electrical contractors so not 100% familiar with intruder alarms thank you in advance for your advice.

The Pyronix detectors have the built-in resistor feature but you need to install the provided jumpers onto the relevant pins to enable the resistance levels for both tamper and alarm. If you use the jumpers there will be no need to also use resistors in the terminals.

I got these to replace some near 20 year old Pyronix Magnum Ultra PIR's. These latest versions seem slightly more responsive than the old, however the best news was that the mounting locations and cable cut-outs are identical and so they fitted the existing wall mounts originally used for the Ultra's. Availability of brackets was something I had questioned and see these have now been added to the product line-up for those wanting them.
