How do I replace the battery
( )
We would recommend contacting an engineer to carry out a battery replacement. Ideally, an engineer code is required, and safe isolation of the panel to prevent the danger of electric shock. The front of the panel needs to be removed, and the battery is behind a removable panel on the rear of the front panel.
( )
If upgrading from a v.9x panel to the v.11, can this be done by a competent end user or doesn't it have to be done by a qualified installer?
( )
There will be a requirement to completely reprogram the panel when you do this. If you are not familiar with this, we would recommend contacting a local qualified security installer to carry out this upgrade.
( )
I'm keen to have both wired LAN and SMS notifications, so that will presumably mean I need to fit 2 expansion modules. Is there a limit to the number of modules that will fit into the box? (I know it comes with a WIFI one included).
( )
The Enforcer panel only supports one communication model at a time. With the built in WIFI this would allow two paths of communication.
( )
Does the V11 panel need to be connected with cabling to a phone socket? The current panel I have is the V9 I believe and is connected to the phone socket so was just wondering if the latest panel still needs this. Thanks
( )
The Enforcer V11 has built-in Wi-Fi for App based alerts / notifications. You can optionally add a LAN module for a hard-wired connection to your router or the DIGI-PSTN/VOICE module if you wanted a phone line connection for phone call notification.
( )
How simple is this to use? I was originally thinking of an alarm where you just enter a code to set the alarm and a code to disarm it.

Are the fobs easy to use and what happens if you lose them? Would this allow anyone to enter the property?
( )
The Pyronix alarm is easy to use although we recommend professional installation for inexperienced installers.
The keyfob is simple to use but usually needs to be programmed to the panel by an engineer. If you lose the keyfob you can delete it from the system to prevent unauthorised access.
( )
Hi, my existing alarm requires 12v supply so I have psu with backup battery. Install manual for v11 shows a 12v connector but doesn’t talk about it in the manual. Can I power v11 from external psu, thinking battery backup may last better than battery in panel. If not can the psu run bell boxes or again are their built in batteries more than good enough. Shames to chuck psu only couple years old. Thanks.
( )
Although you could in theory run this panel of an external PSU and bypass the alarms own PSU, this is not recommended as these panels have been configured to work with their own internal PSU. You could experience the panel displaying faults with input voltages. The backup batteries in the bell boxes and 7ah battery in the panel should be more than sufficient to keep the system operational during a typical power outage.
( )
Will the replacement battery CR34615D fit the pyronix V10 2017 model as I don't want to order the wrong one
( )
This battery is usually found in the older bell boxes. It is very difficult for us to confirm which one your bell box uses without opening it up and double checking.
( )
Size of unit especially depth V10 wireless alarm panel
( )
The panels physical dimensions are (W x H x D) 220 x 160 x 50mm
