You’ve described installing a WiFi module and connecting to my router. How would i then get a pyronix cloud account? Can you arrange this?

To create a Pyronix Cloud account you simply register on the pyronixcloud.com website and add your alarm panel here. Following this you can install the HomeControl 2.0 app on your mobile device and add the panel to your app for remote functionality.

The Wifi communication module will allow you to receive alarm notification when triggered/set/unset and also allow you to remotely arm/disarm the panel. You will require the Digi-Wifi with external antenna for the Euro 46 panel.

Why would I need the one with an ariel? Is this fine if my wi-fi router is close by?

If you are using the Euro46 panel with a metal case it will block / reduce the WiFi signal from the one with the built-in aerial. If your router is adjacent to the panel you will likely get away with the standard one, even with the metal case.

This module does not support an external antenna. You will require the DIGI-WIFA/XA for this
