The Pyronix DIGI-LAN LAN module adds plug and play Ethernet communication with the Pyronix cloud to your IP enabled Pyronix alarm panel. Using a cabled connection to the router gives the most stable connection to existing internet.

As the DIGI-LAN utilises existing internet connection, there is no requirement for additional ongoing connectivity costs, and no need worry about keeping a SIM card topped up.

Does this lan module include the ribbon cable, power cable and screws to install into my existing Pyronix Euro 46 v10?

The LAN IP module comes with the mounting screws but the ribbon cable is now supplied with the alarm panel and not the module. This is something that has changed recently, so if you have an older system, or have inherited it with the property, you will have to source the ribbon cable separately.

Would this work via the TP-LINK TL-PA7017-KIT AV1000 Gigabit Powerline HomePlug Adapter Kit with an ethernet lead plugged directly from the module to the plug itself?

Yes it should be able to. The powerline adaptor simply turns the household wiring into a network so you will be able to connect the router to the alarm panel this way. You just need to ensure that they are both on the same wiring circuit

Can a data sim be added to the LAN card as backup?

The LAN card has no option for a sim card to be added. You can add a sim card to the GPRS module. The new V11 has on board Wi-Fi so you can add a GPRS card as a backup and use the built-in Wi-Fi as the primary communication method.

Do i need to use pyronix cloud, if so, is there any subscrition fees?

Yes, in order to use a Pyronix panel with the App, a cloud subscription is required. Currently the charge is £36 + vat per year although this is subject to change.
