The Pyronix NANO/SHOCK-WE is a compact wireless shock sensor that fits out of sight within uPVC window or door frames, or surface mounted with its low profile and pleasing design. With superfast installation and calibration features such as auto-orientation and pin-hole sensitivity setup with LED indication, the NanoShock is a Grade 2 accelerometer device with excellent wireless range and boasts a 2 years battery life. It also features a conformally coated PCB, which ensures the stability and longevity of its electronic components in more changeable environments, for reliable protection.

What is the difference between nano and normal which is MC1Z2? And does it come with a door magnet as not in picture? And what is the max door contact gap ? How to program to make it sound when open and not the light ?

My installer tried installing on back door the normal and it gave error of open. The shock sensor was working fine, it's just the contact never worked. The initial gap was 10mm which was reduced to 2mm and still didn't work.

The MC1Z2 is a combined shock and magnetic sensor, so it will send an alert if the door or window is opened, or if there is a significant impact to the window/door.

The Nano isn't a combined sensor, so you would need to select either the magnetic sensor (with 2 components shown in the picture), or the shock sensor (with 1 component in the picture).

Get the installer to call our tech support department when he is fitting it and they can troubleshoot with him. If the unit is faulty you can return it and we will replace it for you.

How easy is it to integrate these to the Pyronix enforcer alarm?
Do I need to get an engineer to install them?

To add the device to the system is a very simple process, but you will need the engineers code to enter the menu on the panel. If you have access to the panel, Go to: WIRELESS → ADD DEVICE, and put the sensor into Learning mode to add it. If you do not have the engineers code you will need to speak top the installer.

Can I use this shock sensor on a final exit/entry door? The door already has a contact sensor and is programmed for final exit and entry. In our most recent burglary, the door was kicked in and badly damaged. I was hoping that a shock sensor might put them off by triggering the alarm before they do a lot a damage, but wouldn't it just get triggered when we open up?

Yes, this contact could be used in conjunction with a standard door contact and programmed as a final exit for this purpose. You may be able to program this as an entry route for immediate alarm on shock providing you don't set it too sensitive and the operation of opening the door doesn't trigger the shock sensor before the door contact.
