Hi, I have a client that has an old DVR with cameras fed via Coax. If I switch it out for an NVR with POE ports for each camera, when the Coax is used for the IP Cameras, will the POE pass through the HAY-IPCOAX-EXT to power the cameras, therefore not requiring the 12 volt connection?
Thanks

Would this be suitable for sending the signal from my Internet router through an old satellite cable?

Good morning,

Depending on your current internet speed this can be a suitable option, however if the coax cable is old and degraded then you will experience lower speeds, especially over a long distance.

Kind regards
