The Hikvision IDS-7316HUHI-M4/S is a hybrid digital video recorder (DVR) with 16 analogue BNC inputs that supports analogue HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS cameras up to 8 mega-pixel, and 18 IP cameras up to 12MP. The IDS-7316HUHI-M4/S can support 64 cameras in total when combining analogue and IP cameras. The IDS-7316HUHI-M4/S also features 4 SATA interfaces suitable for hard drives up to 12TB per disk, and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 for even more reliable data storage and avoidance of data loss.

I am trying to make sense of the number of camera's this device record "out of the box"
Could you give a little more detail as to what it can record concurrently as standard, and if the total of 64 camera's mentioned means it needs an upgrade licence to allow it to record all 64 channels at once?
