Ajax CombiProtect Fibra Wired PIR Motion Detector with Glass Break (Black)

The Ajax MotionProtect Fibra is a wired indoor PIR motion & glass break detector that works alongside Ajax wired Fibra alarm systems. The detector works as part of the Ajax security system, exchanging data with the hub using the secure Fibra wired protocol. The wired connection range is up to 2,000 meters when using a U/UTP cat.5 twisted pair. It features protection against view blocking (anti-masking system) and triggering by pets (pet immunity). The motion detection distance is up to 12 meters and the glass break detector uses DualTone - a two-stage algorithm to exclude false alarms. To register a break, the detector must record a dull (low-frequency) sound of an impact and then a ringing (high-frequency) sound of falling fragments in 1.5 seconds. Owing to this algorithm, the detector does not respond to the barking of dogs or cars passing by the protected facility.

The MotionProtect Fibra detects human presence by IR level using a passive IR sensor. The data received is digitally processed in order to prevent false alarms. It automatically increases or decreases the sensor sensitivity in order to accurately detect motion during hot and cold weather.
