Our toughest type 2 alarm cable has an extremely tough HDPE Polyethylene sheath which is suitable for direct burial in the ground without additional containment and is resistant to damage from crushing and animals. It is also UV stable to prevent against cracking in direct sunlight.

The direct burial cable is manufactured to BS4737-3.30 type 2 specifications and has tinned copper conductors with colour coded PVC insulation.
