Does the pet friendly system work with cats that jump/climb

The pet friendly system functions by effectively partially blocking the bottom section of the detection in the PIR to create an area that is masked enough to ignore small animals. If your pet is large enough and can climb on furniture, or if your PIR is facing a stairway, your pet could pass through the non-masked zone resulting in an alarm activation.

No, you would need one of the specific Texecom Capture ceiling mount PIRs that have a 360° lens
