Ajax KeyPad Plus White

KeyPad Plus is an indoor wireless touch keypad for managing the Ajax Jeweller security system. It features a proximity reader for encrypted contactless cards and key fobs to make arming & disarming the system quick and easy without having to enter a code. To identify users quickly and securely, the KeyPad Plus features the DESFire® technology. It is the best-in-class contactless solution to identify a user by card or key fob.

DESFire® is based on the ISO 14443 international standard and combines comprehensive 128-bit encryption and copy protection. This technology is also used in transportation systems of European capitals and access systems at NASA.

In addition, the Keypad Plus offers multilevel anti-sabotage protection including tamper, authentication, polling intervals where the system can detect communication loss with the keypad, and blocking when 3 incorrect pass codes are entered. The Duress code allows the user to simulate unlocking the alarm system if they are forced to by an intruder. This mode will not sound any audible alarms, but a silent alarm will be sent to a security company or the police.
